Curtis Legault (actra)
Curtis began his acting career at the ripe age or 10, with a love for musical theatre, and a hunger to be on the stage! After graduating from the specialized program in acting at Canterbury High School for the Arts in Ottawa, Ontario, Curtis moved to Montreal to pursue further education in theatre at Concordia University. In his final year at Concordia University in the BFA, Theatre Performance, Curtis portrayed Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Amanda Kellock (Artistic Director of Repercussion Theatre), as well as Humpty Dumpty, Tweedle-Dum and Rose in Alice, directed by Dean Patrick-Fleming (outgoing Artistic Director of Geordie Productions).
Other notable roles include Haimon in Andreas Apergis’production of Antigone, and the role of Arty in an original production, Oyster, which toured through Germany this past summer, 2016.
In his spare time, Curtis works with children, teaching, and directing shows both in the city and at overnight summer camps (Camp Tawingo). He loves to sing, write, and most of all, tell stories.
