erika prevost (actra)
Erika Prevost is an actress and dancer. She started dancing at the age of 14 and started working on professional contracts at the age of 17. Erika is currently working on different projects both in Montreal and Toronto. She joined the 4th season of Family Channel’s hit tween series “The Next Step” as a lead in 2015, playing the role of "Sloane" and was also apart of the 5th season filmed in 2016. Erika was the lead in the Best Buy's “Just Dance 4” Commercial in 2012, danced with the crew "Divine Intention" in the movie “Step Up All In” in 2013 and danced on LaVoix (french version of The Voice) in 2014. In 2015, she danced in the Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony with Cirque du Soleil and at the Just For Laughs Gala. In 2016, she was part of the NBA All Star Game’s Opening, working once again with Cirque du Soleil. In the past 3 years, she has danced for many artists such as Karl Wolf, Marie Mai, Kristina Maria, Cee lo Green, Olivier Dion and many more and has traveled in the US and over seas to perform.
Erika attends the I.O. Acting Studios in Montreal to enhance her acting skills. She has also trained with Lewis Baumander and Suzanne Bastien in Toronto. Erika also loves to sing and has trained with various coaches in Toronto and Montreal, while still training currently with Stephanie Lessard. Erika has been training in Hip Hop, Whaacking, Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz at 8Count Dance Complex in Montreal and has been coached by Lorena Liebman, Thien-Linh Truong from Blueprint Cru and mentored by Steve Bolton. She is currently an instructor at 8Count. Erika loves to be around people and share her passion for the arts.
This past summer Erika was on the big screen, in the Dimension Films horror flick "Polaroid" directed by Lars Klevberg.
