Jake has always been a tremendous overachiever, whether in sports or academics. He excelled in tumbling, gymnastics, baseball, breakdance, track and field, MMA and an array of other fighting styles. In high school, Jake was student body president as well as the top student athlete in the sport etude program. After taking acting lessons, Jake performed as a part the program, Suicidal Thoughts, in front an unknown crowd. The audience’s impressed faces and persistent applause revealed his aptitude for acting.
As a serious, focused and enthusiastic worker, Jake fell into the good graces of renowned stunt coordinators who mentored him and fuelled his passion even further. They helped him take advantage of his athletic prowess and showed him the inner workings of the industry.
Jake’s first role as a stunt actor was on the award winning Quebecois film, King Dave which propelled him to dedicate his life to acting and stunt work. Most recently, Jake had the wonderful opportunity to work as a stunt performer on Darren Aronofsky’s Day 6 featuring Jennifer Lawrence. Jake is eager to continue to work alongside creative, innovative and passionate individuals to pursue this art that is loved by many.
