liana montoro (actra, Uda stagiere, sag-aftra)

Liana is an honors graduate of Dawson College's Professional Theatre Program, where she was awarded the 'Brian Cloutte Memorial Bursary'.Soon after, she was cast as Desdemona in MSTC's modern English adaptation of "Othello". Following, an 8 month school tour in and outside of the Montreal area,  she again worked with them on their summer production of "Titus Andronicus" at the Monument National. She then went on to work with the independent theatre company Title 66 in their production of Clive Barker's "History of the Devil". She also played Amah in "Harlem Duet" (BTW),at the Segal center.  Liana also worked on the remount of "History of the Devil", at Place des Arts, which was showcased as part of the Fantasia Festival.

Most recently, Liana can be seen in episodes of CMJ Productions' "Fatal Vows" and  "Real Detectives" on Investigation Discovery. Liana can also be seen on The CW's "Beauty and the Beast" , ABC's "Gotham" and CBC's "Bellevue" and was on stage at the Centaur Theatre in Spring 2017 in Ellen David's production of Clybourne Park.  Passionate and determined, she continues to challenge herself in ways that enrich her as an artist.
